Ransomware Tronas (.tro) / (.Djvu)
« on: March 26, 2019, 08:14:27 PM »
Good afternoon folks!
Has anyone ever been infected with ransomware highchairs? I received a message below:

Price of private key and decrypt software is $980.
Discount 50% available if you contact us first 72 hours, that's price for you is $490.
Please note that you'll never restore your data without payment.
Check your e-mail "Spam" folder if you don't get answer more than 6 hours.

It renames all my files with (.tronas).
It seems to me that they are from India because their contact email has @india.
Does anyone have the solution or the anger?

I did not have a backup of the machine because I had it installed Win 10 a few days ago. This ransomware contaminated my own file and the same college stuff. I tried No more ransom, but I could not find a solution for (.tronas).  because I lost important college jobs, I might not get good grades. Unfortunately I do not have the financial conditions and I need a lot of help.
That would be a debt for my whole life!

With some variants of Tronas ransomware, it is possible to decrypt or restore encrypted files using free tools such as STOPDecrypter, ShadowExplorer and PhotoRec.
@Michael Gillespie released a free decryption tool named STOPDecrypter
