C:\Windows\WinSxS

Running a full scan. I always do. I have been stuck at 25% on C\Windows\WinSxs
Why is this running so slow and why am I stuck at these files
What do I do? This scan has been running for over 3 hours and is still running.
I am new and don't know where to post this.

- Which Avast..? (Free/Pro/IS/Premier)
- Which version..?
- OS..? (32/64 Bit..? - which SP/Build..?)
- Other security related software installed..?
- Which AV(s) did you use before Avast..?
