what options are found behind the custom scan button?Boot time scan does not have any better detection, it is a special tool to be used if you have problem removing something already detected

OK, Update complete and reboot, I now have avast free version 19.3.2369 (build 19.3.4241.445), the same as yours.No change for me the Boot Time Scan option is still there.
Is it possible that I've been hit with malware?
