Query Error from Avast Server
« on: August 09, 2006, 07:36:17 AM »
Hello,

Before, sorry for my poor english.

From yesterdai 11.am I have every 15 minutes 3 errors from Avast Server on my Small Business 2003 premium. Avast's database is on SQL Server 2000 STD and all other databases work very well.

Here the error :

Storage query "CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE EventsSnapshot-2081320734 (Id INTEGER, GenTime INTEGER, Event INTEGER, ObjectName TEXT, ObjectId INTEGER, Param1 TEXT, Param2 TEXT);" failed. Error description: "near "-": syntax error [1]".

Thank you in advance !

Chris.

This is really a bug in the current version of avast Server Edition. It will be fixed by the next program update, due next week.

As a temporary workaround, please reboot the server. That should get you rid of the problem until the next update is out.

Thanks
