[SOLVED] Disk Doctor keeps asking for reboot

(1/5) > >>

frg:
Hello,

After running Disk Doctor, as there were some problems on C:, it asked for a reboot to fix it.
After the reboot DD asked again for a reboot.
I did it once, and it asked again.

I could check in the Windows logs that everything was fixed after the first reboot (it is after all a chkdsk that is performed).
Therefore I suspect a little bug in this new plugin...

(I also tried relaunching the analysis, but the warning did not go away.)

Hi,

thanks for the report, this is definitely not the intended behavior.

In order to be able to help you I would like to ask you to send the log files so we can investigate where the problem is.
You can simply send them by executing our log collector utility from this path C:\Program Files (x86)\AVAST Software\Avast Cleanup\tulogcollector.exe assuming that you have still Avast Cleanup installed on your computer.
Just please add your email address there so we can join the logs with your report here.

Thank you.

Hi Stellarman,

Done!

And FYI, same problem on my laptop, on C: and D:.

I just noticed that the problem only occurred on SSD.

- In my desktop, C: is an SSD and all other disks are HDD.
- In my laptop, C: and D: are two partitions on an unique SSD.

Thank you very much for such a prompt reaction!

Also the information regarding the SSD might be helpful so thanks for that as well.

We will take a look it and I will keep you updated about the progress.
