更新できません

アバストインターネットセキュリティのバージョン19.4.2374 への更新ができません。赤文字で
”何らかの問題が発生したためアップデートが失敗しました。もう一度お試しください。”　と表示され先へ進みません。アプリの修復、再起動をしても変わりなしです。”古い設定？"という画面で（意味もわからず）更新してみると、”最新です”　と表示されますが旧バージョンNo.19.3.2369のままです。対策をご教示いただけますでしょうか。PC初心者です。よろしくお願いします。

お使いのWindows のバージョンはなんでしょうか。
また、ウイルス定義の更新はできているでしょうか。

ウイルス定義は更新できているのにプログラムの方の更新ができないということであれば、プログラムの更新に失敗した直後に、以下のパスにある「Update.log」の最後の方(30行くらい)をコピーして載せてください。

投稿ありがとうございます。それで大丈夫です。

ログを見た限り、特にエラーは出ておらず、「更新なし」と判断されているように見えます。
先般、Windows Update に起因する不具合があったことから、アップデートの適用が保留されている可能性はあると思います。

ちょっと確認してみます。

当方のサブPCでも同様の事象を確認しました。
もしかして、最初のアップデートの途中にシャットダウンしたとか、インターネットへの接続が切れたとか、そういったことはなかったでしょうか。

いずれにせよ、私が試した範囲では通常の手順でのアップデートは困難そうなので、どうしてもアップデートしたい場合には、以下ページからインストーラーをダウンロードして上書きインストールするのが手っ取り早そうです。

お使いのブラウザが最新版Firefox の場合には、アップデートした方が良いかと思いますが、
そうでなければ（今回のリリースノートを見る限り）アップデートの緊急度は低いように思います。

その際今回未修整分も併せて更新されるという了解でよろしいでしょうか。
