Of topic/resetmypc/Could a moderator delete this topic?
« on: April 24, 2019, 11:40:53 AM »
I have the windows insider version 1903 and I want to roll back to version 1809.  A Microsoft tech person told me I need to reset my PC.  I'm planning on doing that but I need to know  if I will need a password for windows.

Why were my other posts deleted?
Because they were pointless, if you want help then learn to be patient.

I would say most people are fed up with the "no I won't yes I will" attitude you continually display, constant editing of posts are annoying to say the least and having to listen to whatever your latest stuff up being is getting monotonous.

Your forum posting is mostly a constant fiddling with stuff you have no idea how working that always give you trouble and that always need to be reverted .... do you ever learn?

The topic will not be deleted so stop requesting it, two recent topics you've done the same in including the continued editing of your posts which you've once received a temporary ban for in the past because of this disruption.

That is exactly the point, when you dont understand keep your fingers away and you would have a problem free working computer.

And we know you are a grandma

I have but I haven't found anything yet.

Learning how to use the search function is possibly the one of the most important things you can do.  Pondus found a good one at windowscentral aside from showing how to opt out if the insider program there is mention of how to rollback after the May 2019 Update.  That may have been a better way to go about this in the first instance.

Search terms should ideally be brief containing keywords relating to the problem and what you want to do.  Windows 10 1903  insider how to rollback to previous version.  https://www.google.com/search?q=Windows+10+1903+insider+how+to+rollback+to+previous+version.

Whilst this needs further optimisation, there lots of links to information that is pertinent if not the exact match.

@Pondus,

As they say you are never too old to learn, there are quite a lot of older users helping other users in these forums.

Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

you also said in another topic that you have 2 other computers?

So why dont you let one be untouched by your fingers and use the older one(s) for your experiments, then it want do any harm when something goes wrong and you can reinstall over and over again ... thats how the experts does it   ;)

@Pondus,

I'm no longer a Windows Insider.

Also, I do have 2 other win 10 computers but the man who hooked them up for me is on vacation for 3 or 4 months
