Avast Issue with Network Profile

We have Avast Business Antivirus Pro Plus and the Firewall Profile keeps switching back to Public from Private. We use the computer that is having this issue as a server for our client management program, Hawksoft. We need to allow windows file and printer sharing and allow remote desktop connections to this computer but it keeps switching back to "Not Configured" from "Enabled". I've tried what seems like everything to get this to stick and nothing seems to work. It was working fine up until 2 days ago.

How can I manually and permanently change the Firewall Profile to Private so that it never gets set back to Public?

I cant seem to find a setting for this.

EDIT:
This is on Windows and the specific problem we are having is that the computer that is experiencing this issue needs to allow file sharing. I have set it to allow it but it still will not work. My thoughts are that it can be one of a couple of things: network profile cannot be set to private, firewall profile cannot be set to private, and maintaining that setting without it switching back.
