impossible to install Avast4 home/pro

Bonjour, I would like to try Avast, but the double clic on the .exe does not launch the installation, even if the previous anti virus (Pc Cillin 9) is already desinstalled.

Where did you download the installation file from ?
Try http://www.avast.com/fre/download-avast-home.html.

Did you use a download manager program ?
The file might be corrupt, were there any errors or warnings when you double click ?

I assume that it is the home (free) version you are downloading.
