SMART SCAN not functioning properly
Inconsistant and unfamiliar scanning progress showing and stalled/Frozen scan progress.
Screen shots show scan complete check marks on top however still scanning at 0%
Also scan freezes and never finishes after scanning for longer then normally observed at 0%

Edit  Several reboots with different results/behavior being shown

Earlier today when booting up, Windows Security Center notification turns out THe Behavior Shield was off. (Havn't had that happen since a couple of versions ago).
Few hours later when booting up no Windows Security notification however this time The Ransom Shield  was off and when clicking to Enable it, THE Silent Mode was on and notification gave the option to disable.

I've never touched these settings or have been interested in Silent Mode.

The concern is why the sudden glitches in the background and with the second instance, there was no notification period.
It's was by chance that I went into the GUI just to see "what's going on with the software today. :-\

Anything going on in the backend of this beta that would be causing these sudden bugs. ???  Thanks

Something I've been reporting on the Developers forum but no real answer.
I have icon animation turned on and that may be causing the problem of not being notified. (Except via Defender.)

This isn't the latest beta, this is New beta version 19.5.2377.

That said, this is unlikely to be just because you are using the beta versions as this would be based on virus signatures, etc. common to all avast versions.

Why can't you access it, screenshot of any alert/reason why you can't access it would be helpful.
I had no problem accessing it using firefox.

What browser are you using ?
