App/Program White List
« on: May 04, 2019, 11:43:18 AM »
Hey,

Please consider a white list just for convenience. It would be nice if i could manually set Secureline to let certain games and programs to bypass it which require the fastest speed.

I could have my normal programs like secure browser, discord, outlook and general windows going via the vpn and games not using encryption.

I fully endorse this suggestion. Having to turn off the secureline while wanting to play a game on steam so I don't experience high ping/packet loss becomes tedious. Programs like skype are not the safest to be around with an open IP if you end up in a group chat with people you just met

Just right click the sys tray icon and select Disconnect. Re-connect when finished paying your game.

It wouldn't work just by turning off the VPN.

For example.
1.- Be playing an online game
2.- You want to make a purchase on an internet page while your game loads, pauses, waits or for any reason you have a moment to do it.

Here are two possibilities
1.- Activate the VPN where it may possibly ruin the game with ping or the game itself recognizes that you changed your IP and takes you out automatically.
2.- Buying without a VPN with the consequences it can bring.
3.- If you have to activate the Smart option and you are playing and by mistake or by intentional access to a bank page, this will be activated and as mentioned in point 1 you will probably be removed from the game.

There are several VPNs with that option, it is not a whim, it is simply a worthwhile option.

I have the same request. My password manager LastPass forces me to login every day because it does not recognize my device due to the VPN. It is SUPER annoying. My last VPN allowed me to white label so this wasn't a problem, but the UI is very limited with Avast.
