Every time I try to open avast this error message pops up:
"AvastUI.exe - Application error
The application couldn't be initialized correctly (0xc0000096)."
I'm using the free version of avast on a windows 7.
I've looked through a few posts, their problem seemed to be with windows defender/firewall. I've checked it and that's not the case. I'm worried that if I uninstall to install it back some error will keep me from re-installing it. Does anyone know the solution to my problem? thanks in advance.
