Back to Avast free antivirus after a free trial

I Have used Avast free antivirus for some years. I decided to test internet security for 2 months, but at the end decided that I do not need this. At the end of the trial frial, the system was desactivated but I do not know if the free antivirus is still active (no information on this and no longer link to (re)activate the free antivirus. How can I process ? Thank you for your help.

Hopefully you cancelled the free trial or you'll be charged for the paid product.
To go back to the free version, simply uninstall Avast and select to go back to the free version.
Reboot your system after the change has been made.
