Have you rebooted it after the update ?

If you have I believe there have been a couple reporting it needing to be rebooted twice.  I'm in no rush.

I stay old version from here or expect to update later ?

You could try an Avast Repair.  This used to resolve what I call and out of sync condition. e.g. where what is reported differs from the physical state.

Mine as well. We were told at launch of 19.4, it was being set geographically to avoid burnout but even after a month down the line and a version upgrade i.e. 19.5, smart scan UI remains old.

And yes, I have rebooted more than 4 times just in case anyone asks. :)

After updating to 19.5 through the UI I had to reboot twice. The smart scan was not working correctly (it did not increment the percentage and stopped after a while). I tried to stop the scan but that did not work. I closed the UI and started the UI again from the systray and it stated that the scan was completed. I then ran smart scan again and the same happened.
I then did a repair from control panel and all seems to be okay now. Will try a smart scan again later to ensure all is well.

Repair did not change status of message.I think they tried to modify since new UI introduced which was not a good idea.I decided to update now.
