Query Error from Avast Server
« on: August 09, 2006, 07:36:17 AM »

Before, sorry for my poor english.

From yesterdai I have every 15 minutes 3 errors from Avast Server on my Small Business 2003 premium. Avast's database is on SQL Server 2000 STD and all other databases work very well.

Here the error :

Storage query "CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE EventsSnapshot-2081320734 (Id INTEGER, GenTime INTEGER, Event INTEGER, ObjectName TEXT, ObjectId INTEGER, Param1 TEXT, Param2 TEXT);" failed. Error description: "near "-": syntax error [1]".

Thank you in advance !

This is really a bug in the current version of avast Server Edition. It will be fixed by the next program update, due next week.

As a temporary workaround, please reboot the server. That should get you rid of the problem until the next update is out.

If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving's not for you.
