When I scan my computer there's dozens of broken registry items and shortcuts, and then I'll scan again a few seconds later and there will be more broken registry items and shortcuts. I think there's something wrong with my computer. I checked the location of the files and practically all of the broken registry and shortcut items are coming from my hkey, which is the archive of my computers registries. I think there's actually something wrong with my my computer. One of my friends suggested I have some kind of complicated viruses but when I used windows defender and avast free antivirus it detected nothing. What should I do? How do I get rid of all the broken registry items and shortcuts. Also there's quite a few hundred tacking cookies and other internet issues that pop up in the scan. Anyway I'd love some help, thanks!

this is not something unusual to have even hundreds of "broken registries" however there is no need to panic since a lot of them might be just a leftovers after programs you have already uninstalled or some caches, etc.
Also this particular operation - I mean cleaning the registries in Maintenance - is quite safe as you can always revert it back using another feature called Rescue Center ("life buoy" icon on the right side of the main screen), where you can find a backup of all registries you've cleaned so far and you can revert this operation.
In 99% of cases, deleting the suggested registries won't cause you any troubles, but if you'll feel that something does not work as before after you clean up the registries, I would recommend to do the revert.
When it comes to the tracking cookies this is rather a matter of privacy. Usually these cookies are stored by your browser to identify yourself on particular websites, fill in logins, passwords and web forms automatically, etc.
It is your decision to make whether you want to keep them for the sake of easiness or whether you would like to rather delete them to protect you privacy.
But please bear in mind that this operation cannot be reverted! Once you will delete the tracking cookies you will have to fill in all your logins, passwords and forms on websites manually until your browser collect the cookies again.
