Seeking help with Trojan
« on: August 11, 2006, 03:34:22 AM »
Avast! has recently detected the Win32:SdBot-3324 Trojan on my computer, located in E:\i386\Apps\App12654\workssuite\msworks\pfiles\msworks\wksv7std.sbs; wksv7std.sbs the infected file. Avast! was unable to clean or repair it, and is currently in the Virus Chest. Normally, I would not be worried about deleting this file but E:\ is my recovery and I am unsure on how that will affect any future reinstalls. So I am here to ask is there anyway to save this file on my recovery? And if I am forced to delete it, what will the repercussion of future reinstalls be? Thanks for your time.

Seems a false positive... but they're not sure yet...

Thank you for the quick reply and the link, I'll keep an eye on it before I do anything.

Thanks again.
