Avast Premier makes internet browsing on Chrome and Brave INSANELY slow (think dial up), but on Edge, it works just fine! So there is some kind of a barrier implemented for incoming connections for the other browsers, for some reason. I couldn't find what it is in the Firewall settings, and disabling the shields did nothing as well. Also, tried reinstalling both the browsers and Avast Premier, and the problem persists. How this thing is worthy 70EUR per year is beyond me at this point.
