Virus Definitions: 190619-6

When I go to Virus Scans->Custom Scans, I see the date and time of my scheduled monthly scan.

However, when I click on 'Open Now->Scheduled Scan->More->Settings,' it brings up the Settings menu but there is no option to change the day and time.

Please answer each question separately.

1a. Am I missing something because these settings were available in previous versions.

b. Is the only way to change it to create a new custom scan?

c. If so, how do I delete the original scheduled scan?

2. When I click on 'Create a New Scan,' it allows me to choose the frequency (monthly) but not the time; Again, am I missing something?

Best way to return to default settings in Avast would be to do a clean install.  This will/should remove all non-default settings.

If you'd rather not, open the Avast GUI>Menu>Settings>General>Troubleshooting>Open Old Settings>Troubleshooting (in Old Settings)>Select Restore Factory Defaults.

See attached below:

Reboot when done.

Reboot after resetting to factory default and ensure you are connected to the Internet.  As Avast updates automatically on a restart or emerging from sleep mode, best to have internet connected and this should take care of any VPS updates required.  You also can manually update your VPS yourself.

[EDIT:]  How did you fix?
Anyway, glad to help.
