Unblocking Port due to Avast blocking?
« on: June 24, 2019, 07:51:34 PM »
I had to reinstall a game and then Avast is now blocking the port.  This is an MMO, so this port is necessary to display the game.  How do I unblock it?

Remote port 443, Local port 50662,50659,50657

Application C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.SkypeApp_14.46.60.0_x64__kzf8qxf38zg5c\SkypeApp.exe

Is your firewall in puplic or private mode?

If not already, try private and reboot ... did that help?

No, it is still blocking the game.  Also, for some reason it is showing it is blocking SkypeApp, but this should have nothing to do with Star Trek Online.  However, every time I try to load STO the block SkypeApp Port 443 comes up.

Was Avast installed after STO?

Sometimes the workaround is to repeat steps taken before to resolve, you may have to uninstall and re-install avast to fix.
