Exceptions keep deleting them selfes.
« on: June 24, 2019, 06:27:14 PM »
When I set a file Path as an Exception in Avast it does work but only for a short time (~60min) than it just removes the entries from the List and deletes the Files in the Excluded directory.

I have this problem now for several Months.

Any Ideas what I can do to fix this?

What is the file path?  What avast version and build are you running?  What OS?
Windows 10 Home 64-bit 22H2 Avast Premier Security version 24.1.6099 (build 24.1.88821.762)  UI version 1.0.797
 UI version 1.0.788.  Windows 11 Home 23H2 - Windows 11 Pro 23H2 Avast Premier Security version 24.2.6105 (build 24.1.8918.827) UI version 1.0.801

It happens with all Filepaths. Local Paths, Sever Paths and external Websites.

I'm using Avast business 19.5.2563 (build 19.5.4444.506) on Windows 10 64Bit.

I admit I don't know that much about Avast Business - but aren't the settings you changed reverted by the "master" console that propagates the settings to the connected workstations?

That might be the case but if so why should I be able to change it in the first place and it does work while the Execption is in the list. Only after a short while it will get deleted and work no longer.

What is the Recommended solution for this? The Exception should only be added for a few machines while the others don't need it.
