disappearing type

When logging into a sight for secure payment in the secure browser, once I attempt mouse clicks or key strokes, other letters in the window disappear at random.  It is enough so that I can no longer read or decipher what is on the page.  This happens in the secure browser and in Bank Mode, but not in other browsers.  I have re-booted the machine, but to no avail.  Any ideas?

What is your ASB version?  Avast Free, Pro, IS, Premier?

Maybe it's time for a clean install of the Secure Browser
Download the installer from here, https://www.avast.com/en-us/secure-browser
Download the Secure Browser Removal tool from here, https://download.avastbrowser.com/avast_secure_browser_uninstall.exe
Save your Bookmarks via the Book Marks Manager if you have custom bookmarks so you can import them when you re-install.
Uninstall Secure Browser via Programs and Features - Reboot
Run the removal tool, reboot, run the installer import your favorites if you saved them.

Hi,

- Does it happen on any site with login / form? If not, please send us URL
- Please disable all features in Security and Privacy features and try again (choose default password manager)
- Do  you have any 3rd party extensions?
- Please provide Diagnostic info: secure://settings/diagnosticInfo
