Avast free activation question

So it happened at 12 days left. I got the https://forum.avast.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=226506.0;attach=207112;image and it let me select the free option. I had to close one offer after the first box with the red "X". My licence is renewed.

I would like to ask Avast to remove this licence nonsense from the free version. It serves no other purpose than to confuse users like myself and spam us with your offers. (Avast is full of these already.)
