I am testing the VPN during my weeks free trial. So far with the VPN switched on and trying various locations the following has occurred.
1. With the VPN on all my UK sites now do not allow me to watch videos even if the location is set to London.
2. Using various locations - USA, Germany, Australia - All of the sites I was interested in were blocked (mainly sports sites)

Conclusion - The Avast VPN is blocked as it is recognised a a VPN and the software cannot seem to avoid this.

This makes using the Avast VPN a bit pointless.
In addition even with the VPN on one site got my location correct - this needs further investigation.

Regards

Alex

Not all of us use our SecureLine to access something that normally may not be available to us.
I spend lots of time away from home and depend on open, unprotected wifi.
It's SecureLine that keeps me safe and away from prying eyes while I use these unsecure connections.
