How to troubleshoot connectivity through Avast Free version
« on: August 03, 2019, 08:21:31 PM »
Greetings
Thank you for creating these tools, I love them all, the free anti-virus and end point protection and the browser. I have the Free Avast version 19.6.2383 UI version 1.0.394. I am sure this question has come up before, I have searched though and can not find a match partly because the UI version change. I am trying to connect to a WebSite I have created on my Windows 7 laptop from an Android phone, and I can not be sure if the Cable router ( Cox Arista ) is blocking the connection or the firewall settings on my laptop. How can I look at a log file with allowed and denied connection requests on my laptop. I assume after installing Avast, Windows firewall was disabled and replaced by Avast. Is that correct?
