Can we please get a comment from Avast on why this fix did not work and when will the next fix be in to fix this issue?

Why would I try the latest beta. I am looking for a retail release. Not going to rip in and out an Anti virus with tons of adjustments made in the software already.

What happen with this fix? Did it not work, and if not is it being looked to be fixed again in a future update?

That is only a suggestion, if you aren't comfortable using the beta then you will have to await a fix (if it is in the beta) until the regular release.

You could also save your settings before doing anything - AvastUI > Menu > Settings > General > Troubleshooting - scroll down to 'Back Up Settings.'

Not a bad idea anyway (even if not trying the beta) if as you say you have "tons of adjustments made in the software" already.

Either way this was said to have been fixed in the last major update which I have. It clearly wasnt tested well enough and didn't work. I am just asking what the time frame is on the next update.

It would be nice to get some traction again on this existing bug that has never been fixed properly. Can we please get some mods to look at this again.
