Hi Nadina,

Could have been an InPage infection problem. It is not with vlc.exe, not with Microsoft, just with certain InPage documents in particular languages (Arabic, Urdu, etc.) wrought by attacker-cybercriminals with particular versions of the software downloads that is flagged.

Read: https://www.microsoft.com/security/blog/2018/11/08/attack-uses-malicious-inpage-document-and-outdated-vlc-media-player-to-give-attackers-backdoor-access-to-targets/

Scan the file also at VT, what does it say?
