why is it that your anti virus see every software on my pc as a threat, even vlc.exe i've downloaded on official site it deletes it
damn this fake very fake.....

Impossible to answer unless you give some info
what did avast say? … what detection name was given, you may post a screenshot
If you think it is wrong, report it to avast lab

Hi Nadina,
Could have been an InPage infection problem. It is not with vlc.exe, not with Microsoft, just with certain InPage documents in particular languages (Arabic, Urdu, etc.) wrought by attacker-cybercriminals with particular versions of the software downloads that is flagged.

Scan the file also at VT, what does it say?
