CCleaner installing avast
« on: August 22, 2019, 07:40:21 PM »
I've had much trouble in the past with ccleaner auto installing avast.... happened on 2 computers plus the second time today when I downloaded the update. I WILL NOT use avast and if ccleaner installs it the next time I install a new version... That WILL BE THE LAST TIME!!! Do you get it? I hope so... I like ccleaner and speccy but will not tolerate their crap any more......

Use the custom install and you'll get a chance to disable the added stuff.
You could also install the Portable version. It doesn't contain any add-ons.
Download it here: https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download/portable
Once the portable version is installed, you can get rid of version you installed. (Programs and Features)
