I second that suggestion. This morning I woke up to my PC being automatically updated from 12.3.2280 to 17.5.2303 NOT happy. Oddly while trying to rectify the offense, I logged into another computer with Microsoft Remote Desktop and the interface of 17.5.2303 was presented in the classic style. What I concluded from this is the classic interface is still in there, somehow triggered by display settings/visual styles perhaps. Because Remote Desktop can tune down the settings for speed, but I don't know what settings have triggered it.
The new interface is disgusting, it's following the trend of burying things deep and I hate it.
As somebody else pointed out, probably change again. At least it's better than bit defender, thank you Avast!
