I have noticed that Avast has been updating the timestamp of all PDF files in the Windows Downloads folder and keeps doing so constantly against all PDF files present. Why does avast do this?

What timestamps? (last written, created, last accessed?)
How often does the update happen?

Date Modified time stamp.
It happens continuously. Like all my PDF files in Downloads folder always have the most recent the Data modified timestamp if I turn on Avast.

Hi, can you please download Process Monitor (
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/procmon
)
and create a log where we can see which process/thread/stack is responsible for the modified timestamps? Thanks!
