« on: September 16, 2019, 05:32:54 AM »
Where can I see which is the latest engine and virus definition package?

Mine is now 190914-6 and it claims to be the latest if I do a manual update , but today's date is Sep 16,2019

Thanks!

That would appear to be correct at this time.

Not really an issue if you have streaming updates enabled, just look in your avast defs folder and you should see them covering later periods.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.2.6105 (build 24.2.8918.824) UI 1.0.799/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

"That would appear to be correct at this time."

So,now is Sep 16 ,2019 13:15 in Eastern Europe and the latest def. update is from Sep14.
I understand the "streaming updates" concept ,but what is the point to name the "package" with such precision (-6,that means the sixth package for the day) and not release any other new package for next 2 days????
