Bank Mode fail after antivirus update 19.8.2393

Since avast free antivirus update to 19.8.2393 (build 19.8.4793.531).
Bank mode shows only grey screen if opened either from avast tray icon or via ASB screen. So is unusable.
This fault is also reported in Antivirus section of this forum.

just a parallel question since the problem with the bank mode seems to come from the last antivirus update:
Is the banking mode available for those who have avast secure browser without one of the avast antivirus products (independent installation)?
In this case the update of the antivirus (which they do not have) should not affect the banking mode, right?

Interesting inquiry.
I personally can't address this question (confirm as correct) as I have Avast Anti Virus installed on all my systems and would assume most coming to the forum would also have Avast Antivirus installed

You need to have a Avast antivirus product of some kind for bank mode to work.
