Synch with Android 10

Hej...I tried searching but nothing seemed to fit my problem, but if there is, can you kindly point me to it?
I am trying to synch an android 10 device with my windows 10 computer.
I follow the steps here: https://support.avast.com/en-nz/article/Synchronize-Passwords-across-devices and here https://support.avast.com/en-us/article/Synchronize-Passwords-across-devices, but after I get past the log ins (and I do the captchcom or whatever you call the anti-robot question), I am not sent to any synch screen, rather, I just get booted back to the home page of the app. What am I doing wrong?
