Avast flagging IOBit Driver booster as malware
« on: September 24, 2019, 09:07:33 AM »
Starting today, Avast is flagging all iterations of IOBit Driver Booster 6 and 7 as malware.  This seems like a  pretty unlikely positive.   Anybody else run into this?  I'm running Windows 10 v 1903 latest build on a Dell Optiplex 9010 tower.

Any chance PUP or [PUP] is anywhere in the signature? IOBit is (or was) very distrusted and has been shunned by the vast majority of experts after being busted stealing Intelluctual Property from Malwarebytes.
