AVAST Internet Security Causing Network Lag in PUBG

Thankyou in advance for any contributions to my topic.

It hasn't always happened however about 2 months ago my Avast Internet Security began to interfere with my PC Game - Playerunknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG). At first I had no idea that it was AVAST however I eventually worked it out so now to play PUBG I must disable Avast Shield Control. The symptoms of the problem were in-game freeze framing, low FPS and game crashes from network lag.

Can anyone offer me a workaround rather than me having to turn of All my shields?
