Error while creating a rescue disk

Hi,
i want to create a rescue disk on a USB (HP 16gb) but while installing, the process arrives at 29% and then gives the error: "the rescue disk could not be created". How can i solve this problem?

EDIT: i get this error also when i try to download the .iso file clicking on "create cd"

It's a known fault/bug caused by the last programme update.

An email I got from the Avast support team yesterday says that it wont be fixed until the next programme update, which usually come out every 2 - 3 months, so I wouldn't expect this to be fixed any time before late November or sometime in December.  And as the email said it **should** be fixed in the next programme update, it may not even be then. :-(

So we'll be out of luck if we need a rescue disk before then...
