Yes. I have difficulties to install it. The NVDA screenreader read nothing. I had to ask sighted person to help. I think, that it won't be a problem to make avast accessible with nvda. The NVDA is open source on github.

Could you provide some details..!?

- Other security related software installed..?
- Which AV(s) did you use before Avast..?
W8.1 [x64] - Avast Free AV 23.3.8047.BC [UI.757] - Firefox ESR 102.9 [NS/uBO/PB] - Thunderbird 102.9.1

Generally users of screenreaders navigate through computer by pressing the keystrokes, such as tab, shift+tab, and arrow keys, or key shortcuts.
As I heard, Avast for jaws screenreader is accessible, but for most of the blind people it is expensive. In Poland, it costs 4000 zlots. I have:
Os - Windows 10 professional x64 build 19.09
Earlier I had windows defender security center.
Thank you
PS. I think, that the best solution for all screenreaders will be to create avast products as a web application.

Ach. I forgot. I send the links to NVDA, and to the source code:

What's going on with avast! ? I know there has been weird stuff going on recently, but is there a large release planned sometime soon? Usually around such time, we got a major yearly update, but now we have a rather generic update hanging up in the air for few months now.

The last news was "sometime in Feb." but, that was before the Jumpshot incident.
