Avast causing my Music app plugins to be blurry

Hi folks,

I have Music recording software and third parties provide plugins for the main applications.

A few of these third party plugins from companies Air technology (Xpand2 and Vacuum pro plugins) and Soundtoys (little plate plugin) all become blurry and unusable when Avast is enabled, on the former its the fonts and the latter its on the GUi.

I get no notification whatsoever from Avast about threats and creating an exception doesn't help, neither does turning off the behaviour shield.

The only way to get rid of the problem is to totally disable Avast while I use the music making software.

I have never seen this kind of problem before.

Ideas appreciated.

- Which version..?
- OS..? (32/64 Bit..? - which SP/Build..?)
- Other security related software installed..?
- Which AV(s) did you use before Avast..?

I have Avast free latest build, windows 10 1903 64 bit, Malwarebytes installed but no realtime scanning, and Comodo firewall. I have used Avast for a good few years now, really its my go to antivirus.

If I disable Avast plugins run as normal, if Avast is enabled then plugins don't load properly, usually in the past I would have got some sort of notification from Avast but not this time.

What does it mean "totally disable Avast"? Stop all shields or something else?
If so, is it possible to narrow it down to one specific shield only?
