I downloaded version 14.2 for HighSierra 13.13.6 and all my core shields are turned off. I cannot turn them on. When I go into Security & Privacy I see no button to allow me to activate Avast or any of the shields. I viewed the YouTube video referenced on one of the Avast help pages if none of the Mac drivers loaded, but no "allow" button appears, so that solution doesn't work for me either. If I can't get the free version to load, why would Avast think I'd spend any money on their paid version? Is the Mac version an afterthought as it is for many other vendors? Any help appreciated.
