License expired false marketing e-mail from Avast
« on: October 26, 2019, 08:29:06 AM »
Yes. I know it sounds a mistake of topics or so.
But it is not.
First, Avast started by being a nice product and a nice company.
Now, I get so many pop-up as false positives, telling me I can solve something, then they try to sell something more, the price increases and after you purchase, they strip something out of it and ask for more again.
In this system seems to start sending false license expiration e-mails.
I've just got one, telling me "Your Avast Internet Security expires in 30 days".
In my account I have only one, Avast Premium Security (formerly Avast Premier), expiring in February 2020.
Thing is, it happens too often. Each year I get something, months before expiration. I might jump doing it, right?
I won't.
WTH, Avast?
