Keep losing internet connection

I am running Avast Premium on a Windows 10 Pro laptop and I keep having to reboot to get internet. It shows that I'm connected to my Wifi but I have no internet. After a fresh reboot, it will work, then if I leave it for awhile and come back, it will still show that I'm connected but I'm not really and a reboot is the only thing that fixes it. This is really frustrating! Please help!

Tried to restart your router ?  take out power cord, wait a minute ......

If you've followed the advice from Pondus and are still having a problem, check this out.
