Subscription

I've searched for Subscription but nothing useful shows. You can move this thread but please tell me where too?

I've used Avast for many years starting with the free version. I upgraded to Pro a few years ago.

A couple of years ago they sent me an email saying the next subscription is £64 for a year. Previous was £30. I go onto PayPal to cancel this payment which they did no problem. Avast emailed me saying I can have 2 years subscription for £34.99 which I paid no problem.

This year they sent me an email saying its £89.99 for 1 year.  I go onto PayPal to cancel this payment. PayPal is being an ass when they ask what should the price be. I don't know until they send me another email with a new price. They got £34.99 refund which isn't enough. I can't make another request on PayPal for more reduction. The stupid site has Help link that does nothing. Why have an Help link that does nothing?

The only reason I use Avast is because the license can be used on 3 computers. Who increases their prices that much 100%!!!!

There are bugs with Avast Pro suspicious item which have been reported many times on the popup. Thank you for notifying us of this problem, it will be fixed on the next updates.

This is total bull. I download monthly updates for an app. I have disable Avast while I do this. These are update files exe which isn't an application like CCleaner.

If I scan all downloaded file they are clear, explain that one?

My question Subscription costs as I've stated.

A couple of years ago they sent me an email saying the next subscription is £64 for a year. Previous was £30. I go onto PayPal to cancel this payment which they did no problem. Avast emailed me saying I can have 2 years subscription for £34.99 which I paid no problem.

The stupid site has Help link that does nothing. Why have an Help link that does nothing?

Why do they increase the price 100% when the service is crap, loads od spam popups for extra crap I don't want. Plus the other bit I've mentioned:

There are bugs with Avast Pro suspicious item which have been reported many times on the popup. Thank you for notifying us of this problem, it will be fixed on the next updates.

This is total bull. I download monthly updates for an app. I have disable Avast while I do this. These are update files exe which isn't an application like CCleaner.

How much do you pay for your Avast?

Thanks for the phone number.

I went over to a friends last night and Avast popped up a message subscription renewal.

1 year £19.99
2 year £34.99 recommended

That shows the cost is seriously over priced.

That is what I paid 2 years ago.

I've been back onto PayPal for an other refund and the site is totally effing useless. I can't make a new dispute.
