This article only discusses voulnerabilities.
I didn't see any dates listed in my scan of this article.
I also didn't notice if these are already patched or not ???

Hi bob3160,

This article is actually timeless, and the vulnerabilities are a re-ocurring string of vulnerabilities that play "the same tunes" over and over again. It is more or less educational in what sort of things are sought out most to compromise office programs (several were rather recently, and win2xxxx is still not aptly patched for the ppt bug).
If the technical side of the story is not your "kettle of fish" then one lesson can be learnt from this in this one meme:
"Don't take anything from strangers", and that is also true for Word documents, Excell sheets, PowerPoint Presentations on the WWW, as in the Mail Client. Remember this meme, bob, and the others also of course,
