"Avast Passwords didn't start properly"
« on: November 15, 2019, 05:48:38 AM »
I'm not sure when exactly this started (I think when I updated to OSX 10.15.1 Catalina), but whenever I restart my iMac, I get this error message when opening Avast Passwords "Avast Passwords didn't start properly". The only solution so far has been to reinstall the app (which is ridiculous to have to do every. single. time.). Anyone has solutions? I can't seem to find any viable ones on here so far. Please help!

I have the same problem.

Did you manage to get the matter resolved?

Thanks

I have the same problem. Yesterday Passwords stopped being able to load. Keeps saying it did not start properly. I'm running MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 on a MacPro.

I still have the original avast_passwords_installer_24082019.pkg and did an uninstall and reinstall. Same problem.

Passwords runs fine on my MacBook running Mojave 10.14.6 and iPhone. Very annoying as I use it for most of my passwords.

I reply to my post yesterday...

This morning Avast Passwords is now working on my Mac Pro. I didn't do anything more to fix it. I just clicked on the key icon on the Mac OS Header and it loaded OK.

Avast, did you fix anything?
