I tried it, it failed all the GRC tests, so I got rid of it.

If this is true, it's very bad... Haven't tested it but ANY personal firewall should pass this test out of the box. Otherwise it's not worth using as firewall...

Hey RejZoR, It passed the tests until I turned off Windows firewall and that's when shields up showed that my ports were closed ( not stealthed) and that the ping request went through. I'm back to COMODO now.

Couldn't agree more as the grc.com leak test is very basic and only one, there are many more devious ones out there as shown on the http://www.firewallleaktester.com/index.html site.

Hello!
Just a question, i use Tiny Personal Firewall and i set it on "Ask me..."
for every incoming and outgoing conections, and i made the ShieldsUP tests and the result was that all the ports are stealth, exept two ports, port=0 , and port=1 wich were closed....I did not made any changes to the firewall, so is this bad thing, that this two ports are closed and not invisible?? ::) Or I will have to make some changes...I dont like when i feel not protected  :-\

Actually i meant the port probing test and not leak test...

Right, so it will be interesting to see if it fails the leak test also.

Can we set specific ports like in Comodo? I mean, network control rules?
Nobody answered  :'(

Comodo passes GRC Port Scanning:

Results from scan of ports: 0, 21-23, 25, 79, 80, 110, 113,
                            119, 135, 139, 143, 389, 443, 445,
                            1002, 1024-1030, 1720, 5000

    0 Ports Open
    0 Ports Closed
   26 Ports Stealth
---------------------
   26 Ports Tested

ALL PORTS tested were found to be: STEALTH.

Even the rules don't look that hard to set up.

Tech I answered up there. Take a look at results of the scan I just did for third time:

I just tested it with Gibson's Leak test. Firewall won't allow anything to pass by unless you are stupid enough to press ALLOW on each and every request  ;D  ;D  ;D

Results are here:

Hi S.Z.Craftec, when first installed it passed all the GRC tests until I noticed that windows firewall was still on. After I turned WF off it then failed the GRC tests. I tried to un-install and re-install but it didn't help, but it did pass the GRC leak test. Maybe it was something with my system that didn't let it install right. (COMODO works fine though)

It passed all the GRC and PC Flank tests for me, including both leak tests.  This was with the Windows Firewall off and connecting straight into the modem without benefit of the router.

I'm not very happy with the most recent version of Zone Alarm (6.5.731) and I think I've found the replacement.

Unlike Sasha, though, its using over 17,000 of ram which I believe is more than ZA used on my computer.

Yes you're right. As I already mentioned, ram usage fluctuates, but in overall I've noticed that this firewall is really "quiet" and also very important thing... I've noticed that system starts quite faster than before, epsecially back then when I used Kerio.
