I'm trying to create a rescue disk. This is the problem I have. Regardless of which USB port, which thumb drive, or which PC, and regardless if I try to use a thumb drive or CD, I get to 29% then Avast automatically goes back to the home screen. When I re enter the rescue disk screen, it still says 29%, eventually it stops & I get an error message saying "We were unable to create a rescue disk" no code, no way to report it. I spent 39 minutes on the phone with Avast tech support only to tell me that my probleem was "Out of the scope of their services" I don't know what to do. I am almost on the verge of dumping Avast & going to another A/V provider. If I cannot create repair disk and/or thumb drives to use on client's PCs, then Avast is just wasting my time.
