Website crashes browser

Loaded a website: https://pluralist.com/armed-dad-chases-off-burglar-who-undressed-in-daughters-room/47777?fbclid=IwAR1rwvs1YJAUuB0V6KsqqMVzH0OS249NrXFES8Fc-ELbUBWmI6kV_DQvbLs

It seemed upset that it was ad-blocked and froze the browser.  I couldn't exit page or change to another one.
I used the task manager to terminate the program, but couldn't restart the browser until I restarted Window 10.

This is the second time in two days I've encountered a website like this.
