Can not register Avast Free

When will this annoying popup STOP that is informing me Avast has expired.

I use my computer for digital photography and 3D modeling/rendering. It's quite annoying when I'm using Adobe Lightroom or a 3D app like Vue that Avast has expired.

How do I make this STOP?

You've already had a reply from Avast. It's the weekend. Patience you'll get additional help from Avast but not till Mon.

....Did you do a clean install with the tool again, but this time without trying to install a license code via tray icon or somewhere else?

Ok... I did exactly as article in the links.

Downloaded "avastclear.exe" and ran it. The rebooted into SafeMode and ran the app and selected to uninstall Avast 64bit version (running Windows 10 Home 64 bit)

Rebooted and downloaded AvastFree from the link. I then registered via the Tray Icon.

It may be that this useless registration is the problem now.
Usually a clean install erases all traces of the license code, so it shouldn't tell you that the license has expired since you don't have one anymore.
If the popup is present at the moment,isn't it because you tried to register with a code (furthermore did not correspond to your version)?
Traces of this code must always be present in your system.Remove it by clean install

Yes, I did use the Avast uninstaller prior. But after reading this post earlier this morning I tried that process once more and it worked.

That's what I presented, the first time you went a bit further than the strict procedure proposed by r@vast.
Wanting to register at all costs is what got you kicked out and misled those who wanted to help you.
This kind of precipitating error happens just as often to young people as it does to older people.

Registration has always been required. The universal keys are not for the current version.

Yes and no
yes because there is always a link and a one year countdown between the product and your device.
But not (the essential point) because it's done automatically without you having to enter a code to activate it as shown in the official link.

It is no longer necessary to register your Avast Free Antivirus as your initial free license automatically activates after installation. When your free license expires, you can let the program automatically renew it.

the few difficulties encountered are at the time (or a few days before) of expiration.
People are often afraid that they are no longer protected because of the informative popup they see every day.
There are some bugs sometimes (or bad procedure as in the case of kenmo) when doing the manual renewal procedure
