Timing avast to scan
« on: August 26, 2006, 08:12:06 PM »
Hello,

is there a way to get avast to scan at a certain time.  ie: Norton had a feature that it would scan the entire computer at 3:00 in the morning (or anytime you set it to do so).

It would be nice so it wouldn't slow down the computer scanning it while doing every day work.

Thanks

Hello and Welcome :)

Yes, avast! has this ability, but it's only available in the Home version - this is available only in the Pro version of the program ;)
If you have the Pro version you can create your own task (Enchanced User Interfave) in what time to start scanning ;)
